Dr. Bruno Porro graduated from the Federal Institute of Technology (ETH) as a civil engineer and went on to follow a second course of studies, obtaining a doctorate in economics from the University of Zurich. He worked thereafter at Schweizerische Rückversicherung which became later Swiss Re. His latest positions included Chief Risk Officer and Member of the Executive Board.
